The idea behind this bag is as simple as it is necessary: No more stench of wet nets in the car!
You probably know the situation: You’ve caught a fish at night or in the morning and there’s not enough time left to dry the landing net or weigh sling. As positive as the “smell of success” may be, you don’t want it in your car. Neither wetness, moisture nor odour escape from our Hammer Sleeve. Packed items remain air- and watertight!
Packing retainer slings in the Hammer Sleeve also has the advantage that they do not get wet from dew or rain during a fishless night and can therefore be taken home dry again. We have chosen the diameter (20 cm) and the length (rolled up to 135 cm) so that there is enough space in the Hammer Sleeve for a landing net with a two-part handle bar and two large retainer slings. Depending on the size of the slings, the spare landing net also fits in the sleeve.
To ensure that bacteria and fungi have no chance to “multiply”, you should of course remove the wet objects from the sleeve after transport and hang them to dry.
The balanced handle makes it comfortable to carry, and on longer trips the Hammer Sleeve can also be slung around with a (detachable) padded strap. A very helpful bag that – in our opinion – should not be missing in any fishing equipment.
